SKS advise and assist companies involved in international trade to prepare and submit applications to attain Authorised Economic Operator status (‘AEO’). We have worked with many companies in various industry sectors helping them to successfully obtain AEO accreditation.
The AEO regime commenced in the EU on 1 January 2008 and has become a globally recognised quality mark for businesses involved in the international supply chain. In order to attain AEO status and be entitled to the benefits, businesses must prove themselves to be trusted and compliant supply chain members. Application is voluntary and HMRC are responsible for approving UK AEO applicants.
